Live demos
Five live demos on this server.
Small working versions of the systems I build. Nothing runs until you open a demo or press its button.

Orchestration & automation
A five-step pipeline that runs on this server when you press Run: fetch the USGS earthquake feed, reshape it, validate every record, build a report and publish the cleaned data as CSV or GeoJSON.
Source feed: 2.5_day.geojson · USGS Earthquake Hazards Program
Waiting for you. Pick your settings and press Run pipeline.

Infrastructure & ops
Checks the outside services the other demos depend on, from this site’s server, when you press Run checks: whether each one answers, how long it takes, and which IP address it answered from. Results are cached for a minute, and the history keeps at most one sample every five minutes, the last 48 per service.
GIS & spatial systems
Parses a typed address, or your location, into NENA NG911 civic address fields, geocodes it with the Census geocoder, and maps its census tract with ACS estimates.
NENA NG911 civic address fields
The NENA standard for civic addresses (CLDXF, NENA-STA-004) splits an address into fixed fields so 9-1-1 systems can match and route a call. Left: what this server parsed from your text. Right: the US Census Bureau’s reference for the same address.

Site analytics
What a page-tracking tag like Google Analytics can read from an ordinary visit, read by your own browser and never sent from here.
- Approximate location
- Not looked up
Your own browser read all of this. The referring site, first page and page count stay in this tab’s session storage and are never sent anywhere. Look up asks this server, which checks your network address with a location service once and keeps nothing. Google Analytics ties these to a random ID rather than your name.

Crawler log
Every crawler request that reaches WordPress is counted on this server: search engines, AI crawlers and assistants, link previews and SEO tools. Repeats from the same crawler and address to the same page within a minute are rolled into one row with a hit count. This shows the last 28 days: which crawlers came, what they asked for and when. Browsers aren’t logged.
